MEET SAM
The Dream

"In December of 2009, I first told my Kindergarten teacher that I was going to be President of the United States one day. She was so excited, that she paraded me to all the other teachers in the hallway to repeat the news.

From that day on, I began reading and learning as much as I could about all of the U.S. Presidents. Every President's Day, I would dress up and give a presentation to my classmates about the U.S. Presidency. I began collecting President books and memorabilia, and even started a tradition of writing letters to every living President.

As a teenager, I began my Presidential Tour of the United States, trying to visit as many historical sites, memorials, and graves as possible. (You can travel along with me by selecting "The Presidential Tour" tab.)
"I am actively pursuing ways to stay involved in representative-democracy. I love people, and I want to serve my community, my state, and my country and do my part to improve it.

In High School, I first was elected to represent a constituency as Junior and Senior Class President. Then in college I served two terms in the Student Government as well as two terms in the Hall Council of my College Dormitory. I also served as the Vice President of Ball State University's College Republicans. (I've lost a few elections here and there as well, but God has taught me as much through the losses as he has through the wins.)

I've also had the opportunity to learn through real work for the Government, as an Intern for a County Prosecutor's Office, and a US Congressional Office.

Today:
I'm currently putting the finishing touches on my degree, investing the spiritual health of my college community, and I plan on returning to my hometown to start serving people through government."
The Journey So Far

What's next?
The End goal is still the same.
